The Latest Advancement in Liposuction: 6th Generation Tickle Lipo

unnamed-3How it Works:  Custom Acoustic Liposuction, often referred to as “Tickle Lipo” differs from other methods of liposuction because the cannula uses air pressure to create a 3-D infrasonic movement (vibrating and gently twirling).  Tickle Lipo’s unique cannula provides Turbo Infiltration of the tumescent solution, a technique that is appealing for the patient because it means better disbursement of tumescent solution, 25 percent faster numbing, less discomfort and quicker recovery.   At Hall Plastic Surgery & Rejuvenation Center we strive to bring patients the most advanced technology available to give patients the safest and best results.  Ask our office for more information on Tickle Lipo and if this procedure is right for you.

Benefits of Tickle Lipo to the patient:

  • Procedure in many cases may be performed while patient is awake so no general anesthesia is necessary
  • Bruising is lessened
  • Less pain during procedure
  • Faster recovery

Risks

Before undergoing any surgical procedure, you should be aware of possible risks and side effects. During your consultation, Dr. Hall will explain the procedure, provide a realistic assessment of the possible outcome, answer your questions and provide information on any possible risks and side effects, including uneven contours, skin rippling or loosening, nerve damage, irregular pigmentation, infection, clotting, fluid loss or accumulation and reactions to anesthesia or medications.

Recovery Time

In the first few days, it’s normal to experience swelling, pain, bruising or burning. You may return to normal activity as soon as you feel ready. Initial healing time is five to 10 days, depending on the amount of liposuction performed. Strenuous activity is possible after two weeks of healing. Changes may not be evident immediately and contours will improve as swelling subsides. The results are lasting though weight gain or pregnancy can alter the effects. Complete healing will continue for a few months as swelling subsides and the effects of the procedure become more defined.

Follow-up

Patients may need to wear a compression garment or an elastic bandage to compress the skin, control swelling and direct the new contour of the body. Patients will be given directions about care and medication before leaving the facility, and a follow-up appointment will be scheduled.
