Dr. Hall has recommended lymphatic drainage massage as part of surgical recovery care since he began his practice.  Lymphatic drainage is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products and fluids away from the tissues and through the body. There are many benefits that can result from lymphatic drainage before and after surgery including, reduction of swelling, increased blood flow to promote tissue regeneration, pain relief, and reduction in the formation and severity of scarring.

Treatment can begin as soon as 48 hours post surgery depending on the procedure administered by Dr. Hall.  Dr. Hall will instruct patients on when they are safe to begin this treatment as part of their recovery.  It is important to find a highly trained and licensed lymphatic drainage specialist who has experience with post operative recovery and can assess the best course of treatment for your specific needs.  We are thrilled to recommend Frank Sansalone, RMT of Austin Holistic Health who has partnered with Dr. Hall to provide these services to our patients.  Frank exclusively provides our patients their first post surgical lymphatic drainage session at no charge.  Please read more about Frank Sansalone below.

Frank Sansalone R.M.T.

Frank came to the world of massage as an Engineer. He graduated massage school with training in Swedish massage techniques but wanted to expand his knowledge base to offer more therapeutic treatments to his clients.  He took his first trigger point class that same year and found exactly what he was looking for.

Now, 11 years later, his approach to massage has completely evolved after over 200 hours of training and practice. Every minute and massage stroke he uses has specific intention and meaning. He takes the extra time to tune into and read the body.  Frank always focuses on working the muscles in the same direction the blood flows. This gives clients optimal elimination of toxins released.  Frank recommends booking sessions close together to get the most out of treatments post surgery and then work on maintenance as needed.

This past year Frank took time to learn and become certified in endermologie, a treatment that was invented 30 years ago to help burn victims break down scar tissue.  Now it has many uses such as cellulite reduction, lymph drainage, and skin rejuvenation.  Frank utilizes one of LPG’s latest, most advanced machines as part of his edermologie treatments for even more dramatic results.
