BBL uses broad-spectrum visible and infrared light to selectively heat layers of skin, getting rid of undesired pigmentation, redness and other unwanted conditions. It sets new standards in treating skin conditions associated with aging, active lifestyles, and sun damage. BBL has the ability to provide dermal renewal, permanent hair reduction, and the treatment of pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and acne. With the broadest range of wavelengths, your provider can personalize treatments to fit each patient’s needs.
Almost any area of the body can be treated but the most common areas treated are those that have been exposed to the sun. You will receive a personalized treatment plan that will determine how many treatments you may need. During the treatment, you will feel a quick, warm sensation as the light is absorbed into the skin. You may have some redness immediately after the procedure that will subside within a few hours after your treatment. For brown pigment, it will continue to get darker for several days then slowly fade and flake off over the next week leaving your skin brighter and pigmentation more even. Most patients can apply sunscreen and makeup the same day and continue their normal activities. This procedure is truly non-invasive with virtually no downtime.
AFT™ (Advanced Fluorescent Technology)
The Harmony Medical, advanced florescent technology or AFT™, is the very latest in photo-thermal treatments for vascular and pigmented lesions, as well as, photo rejuvenation. Unlike other pulsed light systems, AFT™ is more of a flat wave instead of a spiked wave. Thus, the likelihood of adverse side effects, which can occur with other systems, is reduced.
Photo Rejuvenation is a non-invasive, highly targeted treatment that uses pulsed light energy to effectively treat irregular pigmentation and vascular lesions in most skin types. Treatments are fast and relatively painless. Downtime is minimal but may include slight to moderate redness immediately following the treatment and mild swelling. AFT™ pulsed light is not accompanied by an extended period of redness and swelling, nor does it involve ablation of the upper layer of skin.
It is generally recommended that a client have three to five treatments spaced two to four weeks apart. While some people may see significant improvement in fewer than three treatments, others may require more than five depending on the severity of photo aging present. It is imperative that individuals minimize sun exposure prior to and following treatments. Self-tanner should also be avoided for two weeks prior to treatment. Results of the procedure can be seen within four to seven days after the treatment, however, more significant improvements are seen when the series of treatments is complete.
HALO is the world’s first and only Hybrid Fractional Laser that delivers a non-ablative and an ablative wavelength to the same microscopic treatment zone. HALO precisely targets years of skin damage and visible signs of aging. It can treat discoloration, sun damage, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, textural issues, and improve the appearance of scars.
It can treat most skin types, on face and body. Popular off-face treatments include: neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs. Patients can expect amazing results in 1-2 treatments while older technology often required 5-6 treatments to demonstrate similar texture changes. Your provider will apply a topical numbing cream on your skin prior to treatment to reduce any discomfort.
The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes and your skin will feel like a sunburn afterwards. Normal activities can be resumed within 24 hours after treatment including application of makeup. Your skin will begin to peel for the next few days but initial results will begin to be seen by days 3-5 with the greatest improvement in 2 to 3 weeks post treatment. Patients should continue to use sunscreen daily to protect their skin afterwards.
The Pixel® 2940 Erbium laser is an FDA approved resurfacing laser that can dramatically improve the skin’s appearance with a lot less downtime and discomfort than traditional resurfacing. During each treatment, the laser creates thousands of microscopic spots known as “pixels.” The laser beam passes through the patented Pixel lens and penetrates the skin creating an ablative and thermal effect that stimulates the skin to produce collagen, which results in superficial tightening and improved texture.
Pixel® is a safe and very effective way to treat sun damage, acne scars, rough texture, enlarges pores, and fine lines on the face, neck, chest and hands with relatively little downtime. The number of treatments needed varies depending on the client, the degree of damage to the skin, and the desired results. However, most clients require three to five treatments spaced about four weeks apart. Clients can expect to see improvement in the quality of the skin, as well as, the color and texture, within a week or two after the treatment, but significant improvement will be seen after the series of treatments is complete.

Our pixilated CO2 device is the only of its kind to combine a pulsing and stacking technique – this allows the laser to treat difficult cases such as scarring, surface pigmentation, and deep wrinkles with less downtime than other ablative lasers. In addition, this unique technique provides a customizable approach to the treatment. Even areas such as the eye lids and neck are treatable with this specialized laser technology.
Ablative: The high powered peak of the laser delivers a large quantity of energy in a short time for rapid ablation of the epidermis.

Our CO2 pixilated laser delivers a series of pulses in rapid succession while controlling depth and thermal action to the area treated. This provides a more effective and safer treatment than pulsed lasers that offer an ablative effect only. This also helps prevent severe skin bleeding and recovery time. Patients typically have 7-10 days of downtime, the majority occurring in the first 3-5 days post treatment.
PicoWay® is an advanced laser treatment that is FDA cleared for tattoo removal, pigmentation, skin irregularities such as acne scars, and wrinkles. This breakthrough technology uses ultra-fast pulses known as picoseconds (trillionths of a second) to break down the pigment into the smallest particles.
PicoWay® Resolve uses holographic diffractive beam-splitter technology to create a two dimensional array of LIOBs (Laser Induced Optical Breakdown). The LIOBs can be focused in the epidermis, using the 532nm wavelength, or in the dermis, using the 1064nm wavelength. PicoWay Resolve acts by creating tiny open spaces, called vacuoles, under the skin where new collagen and elastin are built and can transform the skin over time.
Laser light is targeted at unwanted pigment in ultrashort picosecond pulses. These pulses shatter the pigment into very tiny particles which are then easily eliminated by the body’s natural processes. The PicoWay Resolve laser emits less heat energy than traditional lasers providing a more comfortable treatment and little to no down time for the patient.
PicoWay® treatments selectively treat the melanin pigmentation while leaving surrounding skin undamaged. After treatments, patients will experience temporary discoloration or reddening of the skin around the treatment site. Some patients may also experience a temporary lightening or darkening of the skin. The skin will typically resolve to normal pigmentation color within 24-72 hours.
PicoWay® treatments are typically brief (20-30 minutes) and are done over a series of treatment sessions spaced weeks apart. Your provider will recommend a treatment plan that works best for you.
