Aging, sunlight exposure, and environmental pollutants can all deteriorate the structure and functions of the skin with time. We are thrilled to bring our patients pixilated CO2, the most advanced laser therapy designed to help reverse the signs of skin damage. Pixilated CO2 combines innovative science with state-of-the-art technology. Our pixilated CO2 device is the only of its kind to combine a pulsing and stacking technique – this allows the laser to treat difficult cases such as scarring, surface pigmentation, and deep wrinkles with less downtime than other ablative lasers. In addition, this unique technique provides a customizable approach to the treatment. Even areas such as the eye lids and neck are treatable with this specialized laser technology.

Ablative: The high powered peak of the laser delivers a large quantity of energy in a short time for rapid ablation of the epidermis.

Thermal Effect: The energy of the pulse spreads heat into the dermis, delivering immediate shrinkage and production of new collagen.

Our CO2 pixilated laser delivers a series of pulses in rapid succession while controlling depth and thermal action to the area treated. This provides a more effective and safer treatment than pulsed lasers that offer an ablative effect only. This also helps prevent severe skin bleeding and recovery time. Patients typically have 7-10 days of downtime, the majority occurring in the first 3-5 days post treatment.

HALO

It can treat most skin types, on face and body. Popular off-face treatments include: neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs. Patients can expect amazing results in 1-2 treatments while older technology often required 5-6 treatments to demonstrate similar texture changes. Your provider will apply a topical numbing cream on your skin prior to treatment to reduce any discomfort.

The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes and your skin will feel like a sunburn afterwards. Normal activities can be resumed within 24 hours after treatment including application of makeup. Your skin will begin to peel for the next few days but initial results will begin to be seen by days 3-5 with the greatest improvement in 2 to 3 weeks post treatment. Patients should continue to use sunscreen daily to protect their skin afterwards.

Pixel

The Pixel® 2940 Erbium laser is an FDA approved resurfacing laser that can dramatically improve the skin’s appearance with a lot less downtime and discomfort than traditional resurfacing. During each treatment, the laser creates thousands of microscopic spots known as “pixels.” The laser beam passes through the patented Pixel lens and penetrates the skin creating an ablative and thermal effect that stimulates the skin to produce collagen, which results in superficial tightening and improved texture.

Pixel® is a safe and very effective way to treat sun damage, acne scars, rough texture, enlarges pores, and fine lines on the face, neck, chest and hands with relatively little downtime. The number of treatments needed varies depending on the client, the degree of damage to the skin, and the desired results. However, most clients require three to five treatments spaced about four weeks apart. Clients can expect to see improvement in the quality of the skin, as well as, the color and texture, within a week or two after the treatment, but significant improvement will be seen after the series of treatments is complete.

Microneedling + Plasma for skin rejuvenation

Plasma Skin Rejuvenation, commonly referred to as the Vampire Facial, is a medical treatment that enhances collagen production via the infusion of your own, natural rich plasma. It is applied with a micro-needling pen device, leading to healthier, fuller, more youthful-looking skin with tighter pores and diminished lines. It naturally rejuvenates your skin with minimal downtime.

How is Plasma Skin Rejuvenation Performed?

A sample of blood is obtained from the patient (small amount, about the same as a lab would do). The blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the rich plasma from the other components of the blood. This results in a separation of red blood cells and yellow serum that contains your body’s natural 8 potent growth factors. That serum is then deposited back into the deepest layer of the skin during your micro-needling treatment. The micro-needling creates small “channels” within the skin with tiny needles, but you will be numb so you will be comfortable. Once the tiny channels are created, the plasma is able to penetrate deep into the skin and stimulate collagen where you need it most.

Improvement in the skin is seen with each treatment, but a series of 3-6 treatments spaced about a month apart is ideal. This may vary from person to person depending on the desired level of correction. The procedure takes about an hour from start to finish and your downtime is 24-48 hours, depending on the person and how you heal.

Morpheous8

Aging skin conditions are one of our biggest concerns. While we are not able to stop the aging process, we can help ease the pain of time. The technology in Morpheus 8 is ideal for combating some of our most common aging conditions. This fractional treatment stimulates collagen production for better skin support while helping to smooth out the texture of the skin. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the skin’s own building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process leaving you with smoother, firmer skin. This treatment is ideal for multiple areas of the body as well as the face. Some areas of concerns that are treatable include the arms, stomach and those aging knees.

Who is a good candidate?

Morpheus8 can be used on all skin types. The properties allow even darker skin tones to be treated without the risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

How many treatments do I need?

Depending on the condition of the area to be treated, 1-3 treatments are usually recommended. At Hall Plastic Surgery and Medspa we recommend a least a series of 3 spaced a month apart

How quickly will I see results?

The first signs of results can appear after the first few weeks, but will continue to improve over the next 6 months.
