The next generation of non-surgical lifting, now available at both Westlake Hills and Cedar Park.
Ultherapy PRIME treats more areas than the device most people know. We are curious which one matters most to you. Tell us and we will follow up with what the treatment actually involves for that area, and whether you are a good candidate for it.
Ultherapy PRIME is the next generation of the platform, not a new setting on the same machine. The difference is what your provider can see while treating you.
PRIME has integrated real-time visualization. Your provider watches the individual layers of skin and the tissue underneath as the treatment happens. That matters because the depth where collagen responds is not identical on every face, or even on both sides of the same face. Seeing the layer means the ultrasound energy goes where it will stimulate collagen and stays away from the structures it should avoid.
Treatments are also faster and more comfortable than they were on the earlier device.†
It is the reason PRIME is cleared for areas the original device was not, including the abdomen, arms, and knees.
Not every practice in Austin has upgraded. If you looked into Ultherapy a few years ago and decided against it, the device has changed since then.
† Claims per Merz Aesthetics, comparing Ultherapy PRIME to the legacy Ultherapy device.
Lift the face*, smooth the décolleté, and firm and lift the skin on the abdomen, arms, and knees.
Face refers to the areas Ultherapy PRIME is FDA-cleared to treat: the eyebrow, the skin under the chin, and the neck. If you are not sure which of those is doing the most to make you look tired, that is a good thing to sort out at a consultation rather than guess at online.
*Face refers to the FDA-cleared indications for Ultherapy PRIME.
Ultherapy PRIME is FDA-cleared to lift the eyebrow. This is the area people notice when the outer brow starts to sit lower and the upper lid begins to feel heavy. Lifting the brow opens the eye without touching it.
Cleared to lift the skin under the chin. This addresses skin that has lost its snap along the jaw and beneath it. It works on skin laxity rather than fullness, so if the concern is volume under the chin, a consultation will get you a straighter answer than a treatment will.
Cleared to lift the skin on the neck. The neck often ages ahead of the face and it is the area people most often say they cover up. Focused ultrasound rebuilds collagen in the layer that gives the neck its structure.
Cleared to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolleté. This is the chest, and it takes more sun than almost anywhere else on the body. The clearance here is for lines and wrinkles specifically, not lifting, and we are not going to say otherwise.
Cleared to improve the appearance of skin laxity on the abdomen. This is about skin quality, not fat. Where it fits is the softened, crepey skin left after weight loss or pregnancy, when the skin has lost its structure but there is not enough excess to justify a surgical procedure.
Cleared for skin laxity on both the front and the back of the upper arms. The back of the arm is one of the hardest areas to change with exercise, because the issue is usually the skin rather than the muscle underneath it.
The newest cleared area, added in August 2026. The skin just above the knee is thin, creases constantly, and tends to be the first thing people notice when they stop wearing shorts. Very few practices in Austin are treating it yet.

Dr. Jeffrey Hall is a board certified plastic surgeon. That matters for a non-surgical treatment more than it sounds like it should, because it means the person assessing you can tell you honestly whether Ultherapy PRIME will get you where you want to go, or whether it will not.
Sometimes focused ultrasound is the right answer. Sometimes the honest answer is that the skin has gone past what any non-surgical device can do, and you deserve to hear that before you spend anything rather than after.
Surgical, aesthetic, and hormone care all sit under one roof here, at both Westlake Hills and Cedar Park. You are not being handed off between practices to get a straight answer.
Most areas are treated in a single visit and there is no downtime. You can go back to your day afterward.
Results build gradually as your body produces new collagen. Expect to see the change over three to six months rather than the following week. That is how collagen works, and any practice promising you next-day results on this device is describing something else.
Your provider will tell you at your consultation how many areas make sense to treat and in what order.
PRIME is the current generation of the platform. The technology is the same focused ultrasound that prompts your body to build new collagen. What changed is visualization. PRIME shows your provider the tissue layers in real time during treatment, so energy placement is guided by what is actually there instead of by an average. PRIME is also cleared for body areas the earlier device was not.
Yes. We treat with Ultherapy PRIME, the current generation of the device. Not every practice offering Ultherapy in Austin has upgraded, so it is a fair question to ask anywhere you are considering.
Yes. It is cleared to improve the appearance of skin laxity on the abdomen, the front and back of the arms, and the knees. It treats loose or crepey skin rather than fat.
Most people describe it as heat and brief pressure in waves. Treatments on PRIME are faster and more comfortable than they were on the earlier device. Your provider will talk you through comfort options before you start.
