The Facelift Procedure

The facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a highly individualized procedure that can produce a younger, more energetic appearance in many individuals. Dr. Hall, in consultation with you, will evaluate the best options for achieving the desired results. The facelift does not change a person’s basic appearance but seeks to reveal a younger version of you. In most cases, the procedure involves making incisions at the hairline, around the ear and in the lower scalp. An additional incision beneath the chin may be used to diminish loose neck-skin. Fat is then sculpted or repositioned within the face to enhance the appearance of the contours of the face and the incision lines are hidden within the hairline and natural contours of the face.
