Did you know that the most expensive over the counter skincare product is sold at Walgreens, and it’s over $300.00? Would you ever spend that much money on a product that has little to no science and research behind it? Or pick out a product that is sold in a chain drug store, and not sold to you by a qualified doctor’s office? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions then you may want to keep reading.

When purchasing skin care products there are a few critical things to keep in mind. The first thing to be aware of is, are you the one diagnosing your own skin as an untrained individual? You need to be seeing a professional in the aesthetic industry! A plastic surgeon, dermatologist, aesthetician, or a nurse in the medical aesthetic industry are the professionals you should be seeing.  Another key factor to keep in mind is that over the counter skincare is made to sit on the top layer of skin, whereas medical grade skincare is made to penetrate the epidermis and go deeper into the skin layers.

With all of that being said, a final question to ask yourself is have you ever purchased medical grade products from Amazon or another website that isn’t your doctor’s office? Be careful, we all love our Amazon Prime but some of those products are a fraud and not regulated by the FDA like products sold in a medical practice.  Not only is the FDA not regulating these products, but the temperatures in the warehouses aren’t being regulated, and anyone and everyone can post those products to be sold.

We offer a solution with variety of medical grade skincare products to ensure our patients are using the highest quality skincare products.  We can help to address any and all skincare concerns in a Hall 360 Consultation, and come up with the best possible plan for you and your needs. We look forward to meeting with you.
